The Logan River and the Blacksmith Fork are famous for excellent Utah fly fishing. Those with an interest in Utah fly fishing should also consider the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam, which is one of the best trout fishing rivers in the world.

If you want to plan Utah fishing trips for fly fishing in the eastern part of the state, you should consider the Gigliotti Pond in Helper City, Beaver Dam inlet area at Scofield Reservoir, Huntington North Reservoir, and Millsite state park area. If you like catfish, try planning Utah fishing trips after the spring runoff, when catfish are readily available in the Colorado, Green, and San Juan Rivers.
